Secret Garden

This Plein Aire piece was on display at

Lan Su Chinese Garden in Portland, Or.

 "Lake Zither: Reflection, Celebration, Growth"

30+ paintings in ink and oils, photography

2014-2016 I was the Artist-In-Residence at

the garden. I showed 100 paintings in ink and oils

over three months time in 2016. This was one of the

showpieces!

I use Sumi-E techniques when I paint in oils.

This is a very nice example of the perspective and

markmaking. Enjoy!
