One beautiful summer day I stood for hours painting this scene at a

Lavender Farm in Canby, Oregon. The geometry, patterns and colors:

all soothing and peaceful elements to capture into this painting. There is

nothing quite like painting on location-especially during the lavender

season! 

This and another have been accepted into the Plein Air Show at the

 Oregon Society of Artists Fall 2023 show. We open this event on

 First Thursday Oct. 5th from 5:30-8pm.
